Plotbunnies I don't want to consider further
*glares at them* Here are a few plotbunnies that are a bit too crazy to contemplate. They are free for adoption by crazy fearless writers who believe no challenge too great for them. As alternative a meat grinder sounds just fine to me.

The MPREG plotbunny with Sith Lord Ra's al Ghul and his wayward Apprentice

The general idea was that Ra's dragged his errant student back for punishment and consideration of his follys. And - this is based on information I found in the novelization - he can't sire sons the usual way because his y-chromosome is damaged by the Lazarus Pit. So he gets the glorious idea to use Bruce (or whatever his name is in that AU) to get a healthy and Force-strong son by alchemical means. Ra's won't admit that he is infatuated with his apprentice who is somewhat less than joyous when he finds out what happens with him.

That is the proof that at least parts of my brain belong into Arkham. They provided me unasked with more details than I ever wanted to know. I refuse to write them down. (Of course, I also believed I would never write down any slashy thoughts.)

Ducard arranges a Bruce Wayne/Jonathan Crane affair

After their falling out at the monastery and Bruce's return to Gotham Ducard wants to distract Bruce from interfering with his plans. He sets up a meeting between Bruce and Jonathon. Master manipulates that he is he made Dr. Crane curious about Bruce. Maybe he even warned him somewhat off. The boys hit off right from the start. Ducard can further his plan undisturbed, Dr.Crane never questions that ransom story and as bonus Ducard can amuse himself with watching. Possible twists involve emerging jealousy or a later threesome or both.

Well, my OTP is Bruce/Ducard. However, I do read this other pairing. I admit that bunny has much potential for scheming and hot sex. But really, I would be far over my head in this. Fortunately, I stomped on that immediately after birth. It hadn't sharp teeth yet.

Addendum: And there was also...

Frankenstein's crossover bunny

Bruce is transported to the Star Wars universe and meets Qui-Gon who proves to be his much-wanted teacher replacement. The council is up into arms ("Are you crazy? He is far too old. Too much anger and fear in him we feel too!") while Master Jinn does all innocent ("All we do is sword and unarmed fighting techniques." Ducard follows and is intensely jealous that his student two-timed him with another Master. Meets Qui-Gon and has a rare slack jaw moment. The whole thing started with Obi-Wan's lizard from RotS(!) playfully stealing Ducard's cane.

In my defense, I was half asleep when my brain dreamed that up. It's that disjointed it can only become a bad!fic.

The lizard is named Boga, and I rather think that could be a funfic rather than bad if you gave it a chance. I've *got* to see Batman Begins one of these days.

*Snerk* - Ras having a drop-jaw moment would be SO funny! Ras: "I've been replaced by... myself?!"

The mpreg story - eep! And just *who* would want to raise and train the budding young padawan? Anakin? A Ducard/Bruce combo would be... eep. And my own brain wants to set Ras up with a lady, but she'd be different. An Indiana Jones daughter would be about right, methinks. >D

No, I'm not adopting the bunny myself, I've got way too many nipping at my heels right now, including Lord Vader's other 'improvement project', Cmdr. Praji, who has been dumped into the care of the Imperial Guard by Jix, one of Vader's irregular operatives. I've a hunch one of new Jedi!Jir's tasks will be to find Cmdr. Praji and rescue him if necessary. Knowing Jix, it may well be necessary.

.. if you gave it a chance

I will not! Will not! * murmurs mantra against persistant onslaught of that bunny*

And my own brain wants to set Ras up with a lady,..

*raises eyebrow in interest* Do tell! Which kind of lady wold interest Ra's al Ghul? I have problems to imagine one. But that may be because of the lack of memorable female roles in Batman Begins.

.. including Lord Vader's other 'improvement project', Cmdr. Praji,..

Save him, save him soon! *g*

Keep repeating that mantra, I'm sure it'll help. :D

What kind of lady? In trying to think of an answer to that question, a shortfic hopped into my mind. Just posted it to my LJ. Let me know what you think. Strong female roles are rare in the comic book universe, so if you want that sort of character, you have to make your own. No Mary Sue worries at least, since in those universes, practically *everyone* male or female could quality.

Save him, save him soon! *g*

I'll do my best. Hopefully we can get him rescued before he loses much more than his virtue. XD

Heh-heh, will do. The story grows out of this drabble I posted many moons ago on [info]echostation :

---------------------------
"Come on," said Jix. Grabbing Praji, he pulled the trooper's less-damaged arm over his shoulders and strode off down the hall toward the place where a pair of guards in blood red robes maintained station outside a lift tube.

"Let go," hissed Praji, pulling back as hard as he could. He was too weak however, and his efforts to impede Jix's progress failed. The Corellian moved inexorably toward his destination. All too quickly he arrived at the lift tube and halted in front of the guards.

Since his hands were occupied, Jix gave the guards a polite nod. "Good evening. The Witch of Westmar says you're the only ones who can cure this man of his wounds."

"The old woman is crazy, and so is my companion," said Praji in a desperate rush. While the Imperial guards were drawn from the ranks of stormtroopers, they held themselves apart and aloof. The two groups maintained an uneasy distance, and given the guard's reputation as killing machines, Praji would rather have been anywhere but here. "Please tell him," here Praji tipped his head toward Jix. "To go away."

The guards stood motionless for what seemed to be a very long time. They might have been conversing over their internal comlinks, but it was impossible to tell since no sound emerged from their closed helmets. At last one of them stirred and spoke. "What wounds?"

"Oh, these." Jix turned, forcing Praji to turn with him and expose his back to the guard's gaze. "Pick up his tunic, and have a look."

The guard who had spoken first reached out, grasped the lower hem of Praji's black tunic and tugged upwards, exposing his lower back and the bloody bandages encircling it. The second guard moved slightly as if he too were looking at the injury. Another long silence ensued. Jix waited patiently. The first guard released Praji and stepped back. The lift doors opened silently, disgorging another two guards who took the place of the first pair to either side of the doors. "It is time for us to go off duty." The guard lifted an armored hand and gestured. "Bring him." Turning away, he and his companion entered the lift and waited, holding the doors open in mute invitation.

"You're not going in there, are you?" asked Praji. He tried once again to pull away from Jix but the effort was futile and left him even weaker than before.

Jix grinned at the stormtrooper commander; that crazy, careless, Corellian smile that Praji had learned from hard experience meant trouble. "Sure, we're going in. How else are we going to get you patched up? Regular medical treatment hasn't worked, so what else are we gonna do?" His antic grin widened. "Besides, what could it hurt?" Before Praji could answer those questions, Jix had marched them into the lift and the doors closed behind them.
----------------------

Part of Praji's problem is since Lord Vader upped his Force capabilities, he has this attractive aura that Force-sensitives can sense. Many of the Royal Guard are Force sensitive, and they have this appreciation of brave warriors.

The 'incident' happens shortly after Jix leave Praji in the care of the Guardsmen.
